MissionPossible

Overview

MissionPossible was built and launched in 2015. It matches you to people with similar interests and missions (goals). The app uses a proprietary algorithm to calculate your top matches near your location. Once you discover your top matches, send them a message through the app! The amazing thing about MissionPossible is that it allows you to filter your matches by distance, age, gender, and interest/mission category

MissionPossible targeted two markets:

• Finding friends
• Dating

Accomplishments

• Designed, built, and launched this app to the iTunes Store by myself
• Created fairly sophisticated matching algorithm using 3rd party APIs

What I Would Do Differently

• I would start with a specific market and analyze the use cases in more detail.  I would probably focus on the dating market. MissionPossible was too broad, and as a result, it couldn’t find its audience.
• I would employ better UI and UX overall. Both are terrible on this app.
